Downtown St. Petersburg Office Closing

CLEARWATER – Pinellas County Tax Collector Diane Nelson today announced the branch office at 501 First Ave. N. in St. Petersburg will close on Aug. 13.

 

“With two other offices in the St. Pete area, along with the increasing ability to make more transactions online, we can continue to serve the residents of south Pinellas County while cutting costs and saving resources by closing the office on First Avenue,” Tax Collector Nelson said. 

 

The tax collector’s office encourages visiting taxcollect.com for motor vehicle and other registration renewals, which can be processed online or through mail. For driver license and other transactions that require an in-person office visit, residents are encouraged to make an appointment by calling (727) 464-7777.

 

Customers in St. Petersburg who need to visit an office can go to either the South County Office at 1800 66th St. N. or the Skyway Office at 1067 62nd Ave. S.
